To maintain consistent humidity levels, avoid placing the table in areas with extreme temperatures or direct sunlight, as well as areas with high humidity levels such as near a humidifier or in a damp basement.
Avoid placing hot or damp objects directly on the table, as this can cause damage to the wood. It's also important to avoid covering the table with airtight materials, such as plastic or rubber mats, as this can trap moisture and cause damage to the wood over time.
Avoid using chemical products and strong cleaning materials on the table, as they can cause damage to the wood veneer. Instead, use mild, non-abrasive cleaners that are specifically designed for wood surfaces.
Keep sharp or pointed items away from the table to avoid scratches or damage to the wood. This includes items such as keys, knives, and other sharp objects that could scratch the surface of the table.
To avoid water rings or damage from forgetting to use a coaster, you can use a tablecloth or placemat to provide an extra layer of protection. You can also encourage your guests to use coasters or provide them with coasters to use when placing drinks on the table.
